Fair & Honest Pricing Structure
Pricing in the consulting world is rarely transparent.
garnerOne publishes ours because we believe buyers deserve to know what to expect before they ever contact us.
Whether you need a single focused conversation or an ongoing marketing partner, the right starting point depends on where you are and what you are trying to solve.
Six Ways to Work With garnerOne
01.
Consulting & Advisory
For companies that need a clear outside perspective quickly. No long term commitment. You bring a specific challenge and leave with a direct, informed point of view from someone who has spent 25 years solving B2B marketing problems.
02.
We Audit
A structured diagnostic of your marketing with a clear deliverable at the end. An audit tells you exactly where you stand, what is working, what is not, and what to prioritize next. It is the most effective and least costly way to make informed decisions before committing to a larger engagement.
03.
We Provide Strategy
For companies that need more than a diagnostic. A strategy engagement includes an audit and produces a documented plan and roadmap. You leave with a clear direction and the confidence to act on it.
04.
We Provide Execution
For companies that know what they need and want garnerOne to deliver it. Execution engagements are either project-based with a defined deliverable and timeline, or retainer-based with consistent monthly delivery over a committed term.
05.
We Provide Training
For companies that want to build internal marketing capability rather than outsource it. We teach your team how to think about and execute B2B marketing.
06.
Fractional Marketing
For companies that need a senior marketing leader but are not ready for a full time hire. We embed inside your organization on a part time basis, setting strategy and owning the marketing function. This is about marketing leadership for your company.

FAQ - B2B Marketing Consulting Pricing & Packages
What is the Clarity Session and what do I get out of it?
The Clarity Session is a focused, paid consultation built around one specific marketing challenge, not a sales call and not a scoping exercise. You get a 45 to 60 minute session directly with garnerOne’s founder, backed by research into your specific situation beforehand, so the time is spent solving your problem instead of explaining it.
- Direction – you leave with a clear, informed perspective instead of spending weeks deliberating internally or guessing at next steps.
- Senior expertise only – every session is with garnerOne’s founder, decades of B2B marketing experience, not a junior account manager or a generalist.
- A written deliverable – you receive a summary of what was discussed plus prioritized recommendations you can act on immediately, delivered within 2 to 3 business days.
- No pressure to continue – the session is a complete deliverable on its own. If a larger engagement makes sense afterward, you’ll hear about it, but nothing is owed beyond the session.
- Credit toward future work – the $895 session fee is credited toward any regular garnerOne engagement booked within 30 days, so it’s not a sunk cost if you do decide to go further.
What's the difference between project-based and retainer pricing?
- Project-based: one deliverable, one fixed scope, one price, no ongoing commitment after it’s delivered. Choose this when you have a specific outcome in mind and don’t need an ongoing relationship to get there.
- Retainer: continuous work over a committed term. Choose this when the work itself is ongoing, marketing doesn’t stop after one deliverable the way a single project does.
Retainers usually cost less per month than the same work billed project by project. That’s because garnerOne isn’t re-learning your business and rebuilding context with every new engagement, the knowledge carries forward.
How do you charge for B2B Marketing Consulting services?
garnerOne uses four pricing methods, and which one applies depends on the type of engagement.
- Fixed project price – for audits, strategy work, and content projects. You know the full price before work starts, because the scope is defined upfront.
- Monthly retainer – for execution work and ongoing support. This is the option when you need continuous marketing activity, not a single deliverable.
- Day rate – for short-term work. This applies when you need senior expertise for a defined stretch of time but aren’t ready for a project or retainer commitment.
- Flat session fee – for the Clarity Session. One price for one focused conversation, no scoping call needed first.
garnerOne never bills by the hour. Every price is set by the outcome and the expertise required, so you’re paying for what gets solved, not for time tracked on a clock.
How do monthly retainers work?
Retainers run over a committed term of 3, 6, 9, or 12 months. Covers execution, strategy ownership, or a combination depending on scope. The longer term is what makes the lower monthly rate possible, since it gives garnerOne room to plan resourcing instead of pricing each month on its own.
- Individual service retainer – starting at $2,499/month. Right for one focused area, like SEO, AI search optimization, or content creation, when that’s the specific gap you need filled.
- Packaged retainer – starting at $5,499/month. Right when two or more services need to work together, so they’re managed under one agreement instead of billed separately.
- Full marketing engagement – $7,499 to $19,999/month. Right when you want garnerOne owning the overall strategy and coordinating execution across it, not just running individual services.
When does a day rate make more sense than a retainer?
A day rate ($1,750 to $2,500) fits when you need senior expertise for a short, defined period, like a workshop, a working session, or a one-off review, and committing to a project or retainer wouldn’t make sense for that scope. For anything beyond a short engagement, a retainer or project price becomes the more cost-effective option, because the day rate is priced for flexibility, not volume.
